Far West Engineering was established in 1989 in San Jose California. We are licensed in the City of San Jose, and provide steel detailing service throughout the United
States.
Our detailers have extensive experience in steel fabrication, assembly methods, Engineering specifications, architectural standards, AWS welding standards, Thorough
knowledge of AISC design standards and building codes.
We develop shop drawings according to your requirements, and work with both the architect and engineer to insure quality of workmanship and material. For small
projects, we work closely with the fabricator to tailor the final drawings to fit their specific needs.

Our drawings are produced in CAD format for clarity and easy transfer through electronic media. Final drawings are prepared in PDF format, for common access by standard computer systems. Shop drawings can be provided to you in the media of your choice, printed on sheets, emailed to you in PDF format or sent to you by email as autocad .dwg files.
